Hi Bluebook Fans!
Well the Football Season is now in full swing and we are feeling good now after seeing most of the CFB teams a few times and all the NFL teams 3x.
The NFL is a completely different league in 2011, and clearly one where we will see some old records being not just broken, but smashed, as the Defenses for the most part are way down, even in cities like New England and Green Bay where we've normally seen much better. Depth
is a big problem and injuries are already killing some teams. Let's face it, these teams aren't going to reload those injured players spots like in MLB or the NBA. There is nobody to pick up but players who couldn't even make a NFL roster to start the season and a few old veterans desperately awaiting a call to return.
I have to take my Hat (no pun intended) off to LSU HC Les Miles. I am not a big fan of his Coaching but I have to say nobody recruits better talent/speed then "The Hat". He has not lost in September now since taking over LSU. His team has faced the toughest schedule in the nation so far and is (4-0) and well deserving of the jump to #1.
This will be another Friday Night only 1 hour Radio Show as it will start late (as soon as Fri Night CFB TV Game with BYU ends) - I expect around 800pm or so. Next week we will be back to normal the rest of the season (6-8) PM slot. You can listen off my web site or on radio here in Vegas at (1400AM-KSHP). I also want to welcome in all the new Bluebook Web site and new Gary Free Magazine Club members as well as I've had a ton the past two weeks with the show now airing in 17 new cities. So far the Magazine has not failed to deliver with the Free Picks overall now (5-0-1) after 3 weeks of 1 free play in CFB and one in NFL. Our free picks this week actually swept the board at (5-0) so hopefully everyone had a nice addition to their bankrolls this past weekend.
