It's mid August which means the opening of another FB
season is upon us. Of course this is an exciting time for all
Football fans as optimism runs high for all fans at this time
of the year. Unfortunately, for many fans it won't last long.
But as we have done on our radio shows for the past 7 years,
we will give you all our picks for NFL and CFB teams for
Season Totals. We do not charge at all for these picks and
fully expect to give you more profitable picks in this venue
(Season Total Wins - Under/Over). Listen in all season to
our new weekly Radio Shows (2006)airing every day 11am - noon/pst
here in Las Vegas on KSHP - 1400AM. If you are not in Vegas
you can listen right here off our website. We have a page
set up for you to just go to that page and click on and listen
to the show in it's entirety. We are working now on saving the
days live show and archiving it for those who are unable to
listen to the show during the 11am-noon/pst hour.

We do have our "Earlybird Specials" for our Gameday Season Picks Packages
going on now for both NFL, College Football and College Basketball. We don't
offer any hyped picks or big games like all the other Handicappers do, we
don't automatically have a pick on Thursday, Friday and Monday night
TV games, but we will give you our very best picks all season long.
All clients get the same picks every day. We will have some Best Bets
of that given day, which we advise to bet 1 1/2 times your normal wager.
We have won 61% of these Best Bets the past decade, but we count these
picks the same as our regular picks (a win is +1, a loss is -1.1). The
reason we still rate all plays same is because many Handicappers will
use higher units for "so called better plays" for one reason. If they
start to lose, they will surely start upping the units per pick to
give them a better chance to comeback quickly. I rarely see any Handicappers
rate the higher unit plays as all one unit, regardless of the better
liking of one game. I have learned over the years, you are much better
off betting the same amount on all your picks, with slight increases
on some game over the long season. This way you stay out of trouble of
losing your bankroll (or much of it) on a few picks you may really like.
It's a long, long, long season and we bet it like a marathon, as we look
to have winning seasons with a more conservative approach. Our system has
worked extremely well for 18 years. It's not a system to get rich overnight,
but if you want to make a profit for the SEASON, this is the best system
to subscribe to.

ones and remember "if a certain game looks too good to be true ...it
probably and usually is". And please, do not buy into HYPED GAMES,
these guys who sell that way know fully well that pick is no better
then the other picks they sell, they just need sales soooo bad they
have to try to con you in with the bullshit advertising. Remember,
real winners can sell without that crap. And any guy who sells different
sets of picks where a certain club has better picks for more money,
you need to run like the wind from that chump. A real winner would
want every client on all the best picks he has, that is how you build
a huge clientel and have all happy clients, not just people who can
bet bigger and can afford to pay more.

recovering from radiation treatments the past 20 weeks. For someone
who has been thru that myself, I know the past 20 weeks has been tough,
but my prayers are with you for a full recovery and may you be back to

Hi Bluebooksports.com Readers,
Well another new Football Season is upon us and judging
by the lines to make bets in the Casino on Fri. and Sat. nights
it looks like betting on Football is as high as it's ever been.
Of course with the advancement of games on so many different
channels and the popularity of Fantasy Football Leagues, Betting
continues to grow at an enormous rate each new season. I want to
start out by first thanking my Computer Tech Mike who has done
a sensational job with changes to this website and also to our
"sister website" VEGASALLSTARS.COM as his countless late night's
making changes has been immeasurable. For the past 8 years or so
the Website has been fixed by two guys, Mike and Doug. But Doug moved
away this summer leaving me with just Mike. I can't thank Mike enough
as he picked up the entire load and even made some great additions
to the website. You can now print nearly every stat page with our new
"printer friendly" buttons located at the top of every page. These
pages have been formatted to now allow you to print the pages of
any Stats page we have. He also added a nice Weather Page for all
32 NFL teams. We are currently working on a few more nice changes/
additions too to make the website even more valuable in helping you
Handicap the weekend Football slate.
Next up we'll talk about our record out the gate to this point.
Of course this is the question I get asked the most by emailers and
phone call in's. I have always printed on the home page the same night
or next morning what I did the previous day, win or lose. I certainly
will not win each day, but over the long haul of the entire season I have
always fared extremely well. I am not afraid to tell anyone if I have won
or lost. I have actually gotten just as many sales after a losing day as I
have gotten when I suffered a losing day, as many people appreciate honesty
and actually buy my picks "just because" I stated I lost on the website
following a losing day. I read where Local Handicapper Teddy Covers said
"People won't buy your picks if you don't HYPE the games". I believe that
statement is 100% false. They will buy them as I am clear evidence of that
for 17 years now. Of course it's a much longer grind to get sales that way.
Over the course of many weekend's guy's selling like Teddy will get more sales.
But what I learned is when a client buys HYPED picks and they lose, they get
really pissed off and usually won't buy again. When they buy picks without
the HYPE and lose, they aren't quite as pissed off and much more willing to
give me another shot. The longer someone gives me a shot to win for them,
the better shot he ends up with me for a lifetime. Could I get a few more
"fast sales" each weekend HYPING game (picks)? Of course, but this business
to be successful longterm means working it as a marathon, not a sprint. I
have always believed I let my picks do my talking. No HYPE is needed. My motto
is and always will be: "JUST WIN BABY" and they will stay on forever. And I
can assure you this philosophy does work. Any Handicapper who "HYPES" games
is clearly scared to death he can't sell without it, meaning he clearly has
very little faith in his picking winners ability.
Now back to the records. Well we started off with a nice winning long weekend
in CFB going (9-4) out the gate. Then in week 2 of CFB and week 1 of NFL we came
in with (3-4) and (2-3) weekend overall, not a good showing out the gate for the
new NFL season. But we bounced back in CFB week this past weekend with a strong
(8-1) showing, including a nice easy winner of Alabama as our first Best Bet.
We followed that up with a rock solid (6-1) NFL weekend, finishing off the magical
weekend with another nice Best Bet winner with the NY Giants. So (14-2) for the
past weekend and already a nice huge cushion to start the new 2005 FB season.
I want to add that our new VIP Members Club (our first time offering it in 17 years),
has become an instant success for both the new VIP Members and also for us too.
This VIP Club allows members to "Pay only if Picks Win". I can assure you this is
the best Plan (offer) made in this business today. Although we had a few losing
Pick Packages, not one person really complained afterwards since they didn't put
out one cent for those losing picks. For all the people who called me by the 1000's
over the years saying "I don't mind paying for WINNING PICKS", well folks here is
your chance at that statement. Of course we still have Season Packages you can purchase
that will be much cheaper over the long haul. But again "to each his own" as you can
feel comfortable with either type plan we now offer. On our season packages you can
alwasy feel good knowing, regardless the amount you bet, every client will get the
SAME EXACT PICKS. To all non Gameday Picks clients, I want to thank all those
who emailed kind words about the great start on the free picks on the website
(Free Pick page and backend Newsletter Free Picks section combined now 7-3)
and with our fast start to free Radio Shows picks (now 10-4-1). I try my best
to return an email to every person who takes time to email me. I have been slower
this season due to the back surgery.
I guess it's time to wrap this article up for this week, I want to last thank
my good friend Jimmy Vaccaro for my invitation to his new Leroy's 16 Handicapper
Challenge (MONEY TALKS) at the Riviera Casino Sportsbook. I am happy to
particiapte and hope to see you all down there on my Round 1 matchup on Oct. 14th
vs. my good buddy Nick Bogdanovich (Sports Director at Golden Nugget Casino). In all
my 17 years here in Vegas, Nick has been the nicest Sports Book Manager I have ever
dealt with. I clearly believe the winner of our Round 1 matchup wins the whole
Contest. I have to say the oddsmakers were too kind to me with making me a (17-1)
shot to win the Contest (I am kind of middle of pack with the odds). I do want to
add to make sure to come down and see that Friday Show on Oct. 14th, as I will
surely make it worth your while to attend. It will be a night like never seen
before at any of the Vegas Handicapping Contests. You will be VERY GLAD YOU CAME.
Ok folks, well, hope you all had a winning weekend last week. I must say watching
my beloved Redskins (no I did not bet them) beat Dallas in the final minutes made
what was clearly a magical weekend just a little bit better. Since I am just coming
off major back surgery a few weeks ago I have had to curtail my website articles
a bit. The long Sat. and Sun. nights putting together the Magazine has been all I
can handle and the weekdays are spent more resting. I will hopefully get back to
full force here in a few weeks or so.
I do want to add one final note (reply) to this column as something I read this past
week by Arne K. Lang that really pissed me off. In case you haven't noticed Mr. Lang
it's two full years now I have stopped with my Wars against Casino's and Handicappers
I do not like and who have "punked me and my family". Read slow: "TWO YEARS"!!!.
To bash my invite into the Leroy's Contest is an absolute joke and even worse
another "SLANDERING OF MY GOOD NAME". I mean you have got
to be totally kidding me doing that in your article a few weeks back.
You need to keep your opinions of me to yourself and write about someone else.
I mean for a guy who has written weekly articles for the entire 17 years I have been here,
not one time writing a "good note" about me, to post that
"slandering of my good name" now, 2 years after I ended the WARS
with all the terrible people who "started the wars with me FIRST", is simply
disgraceful and UNACCEPTABLE. You say I crossed the line... Arne I can assure you
if I "crossed the line" the way I wanted to - the Sports Industry would have a few
less people in it. You crossed the line with that DISGRACEFUL NOTE ABOUT ME. I
have done more Weekly Football Preview Shows then anyone and I put out a fantastic
weekly Football Betting Magazine. I give the Magazine Online away - FREE - and I
also sell picks WITHOUT HYPING GAMES
(like nearly every guy you write great things about).
I am the most honest Handicapper who has ever been in this business
and clearly one of only a handful who survives without HYPING games daily and needing
to be on 10 web sites to sell picks and make a living. I donate and help raise
tons of money each year for Make a Wish Foundation too, and yet not one time
(even the 12 years prior to my "Wars" with the people I wrote about on my site)
did you ever write one good note about me. Please leave my name off your articles
and out of your mouth from here on out. If you can't write or say great things
about me like you should be, then just talk and write about someone else.
DO NOT EVER SLANDER MY NAME AGAIN!!!
(*If I can put the past behind me... You MR. LANG should have
no trouble accomplishing this feat .. I am certainly not asking
for much here, please do the "right thing" and forget my name
forever. Try writing something good about me, 17 years now you
should have been able to accomplish that feat with ease by now,
but of course since I am not in your "Good Ole Boys Club" you
never seem to find the time to write anything good about me).
I will close saying I wish the Stardust Contest and Bob Scucci well,
and of course the people at KDWN Radio too. The past is the past and I
have moved on. Hopefully everyone else will too. I am now good with knowing
John Kelly has told me numerous times every year for the first ten years
of making a list of Handicappers to be invited into the Stardust
Contest he had me right there in the top 3 names. In the past of course
when I was pushedto the wall, I had to do what I had to do and we all know
things got pretty ugly. But all that is the past, IT IS NOW OVER.
Let's all let it go and move on and make the industry a better place overall.
Of course I will still continue to expose Scammers and "how they scam"...
but only those who want to go to War with me from here on out will
I expose BY NAME.
